Human Tumor/Normal Matched Pair Tissue Lysate

Tissue Lysates for ELISA, Western Blot OR Immuno Precipitation Applications

Luminous BioSciences provides matched pair tissue lysates from the same patient (Tumor and adjacent normal tissue).  The tissues are immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen until the lysates are prepared. We provide the lysates from the following tissues:

Breast • Colon • Kidney • Liver • Lung • Ovary • Prostate

Protein lysates are prepared by grinding tissues in modified RIPA buffer in the presence of protease and phosphatase inhibitors. After lysis the samples are centrifuged to remove cell debris. Tissue lysates are supplied in modified RIPA buffer with 2x Laemilli Buffer.

For quality control purposes, an aliquot of tissue lysates are electrophoresed on 4-20% SDS-PAGE and stained with coomassie blue which tests the integrity of proteins. Proteins from one of the gel are electro-blotted on PVDF membrane and probed with beta tubulin or alpha actin antibody.

Storage and Stability

From time of receipt, this product is stable for SIX months at – 20°C or 12 months at – 70°C.
